izmigo lets you request a licensed taxi across İzmir — the city centre, the districts and the airport. You see the route and an approximate fare from the official tariff before you send the request, a nearby taxi driver decides whether to take it, and you pay the driver in the vehicle. No commission, no booking fee, no surge pricing.
Every driver holds a taxi operating licence issued by İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi and uses the taximeter. The estimate in the app is calculated from the same official tariff.
Passengers use the app for free. The fare goes to the driver in cash or by card in the taxi; izmigo never touches it.
Requests are published to nearby drivers who are online. Each driver decides independently whether to accept; the app does not assign rides.
izmigo, the driver app izmigo partner and izmigo.com are operated by Berlin GmbH LLC. The company builds and runs the platform, publishes the apps and answers support; it does not carry passengers and does not employ drivers.

izmigo covers İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport and the districts it serves, from the city centre and Urla to Çeşme, Alaçatı, Selçuk, Şirince and Bergama, as well as destinations beyond the provincial boundary such as Kuşadası. Coverage depends on licensed drivers being online near you. izmigo is not the only way to get a taxi in İzmir: street taxis and official ranks operate throughout the city, and apps such as BiTaksi, Uber and the municipal EnTaksi also dispatch licensed taxis.
You set the pickup point and destination on the map or by searching an address. The app calculates the route and shows an approximate fare from the official İzmir tariff. When you send the request, nearby drivers who are online see the origin, destination and estimate, but not your personal details.
When a driver accepts, you both see name, phone number and, for the driver, vehicle and position, and can confirm the pickup directly. If nobody accepts, you can resend the request or walk to the official taxi rank.
The figure you see is an estimate built from the flagfall and the per-kilometre rate of the official İzmir tariff. The real amount is what the taximeter shows. İzmir has no night rate and no airport supplement, but the short-distance fare applies under 3.15 km, trips that leave the province carry 50% on top, and waiting time and tolls can make the amount vary.
Drivers register in izmigo partner with their taxi operating licence, driving licence and vehicle details. They pay a fixed membership instead of a per-ride commission, so they keep 100% of what the meter shows. They are independent professionals; Berlin GmbH LLC does not employ them or assign rides to them.
